Register for membership over at the Live Heats website. If you are an URBNSURF member with a Gold or Aqua wristband, then membership is free. If you're not, then it's $99 per year.

Each competition will open at the conclusion of the previous event. Prior to each competition, an email is circulated alerting members when the competition is open for entry on Live Heats. Prior to this email going out, entries are not accepted. You need to act quick as spots sell out fast!

Yes! We welcome members and non members to come along, socialise and watch our fantastic surfers battle it out. At each competition night we have a BBQ, raffle and beers on hand, so come and soak up the atmosphere.

Across our club, we have diverse skill levels. To ensure all members have a chance at winning prizes, our Competition Divisions are Men's A, Men's B, Men's Open, and Women's Open. The popular Teams events will also run again this year.

For each competition, the top nine Male surfers on the leaderboard registered for the competition compete for the Men's A prizes, the next nine for the Men's B prizes and the remaining men compete for the Men's Open Prizes. The registered women compete for the Women's prizes. 

For the first event of 2025, we will allocate the competitors based on the 2024 leaderboards, with new members allocated to the Men's and Women's Open divisions. 

Yes! We love volunteers and always welcome extra hands on event and competition nights for duties including set up and pack down, wall marshalling, judging, BBQing and much more! Contact us through the website, on email or through Instagram to show your interest.

Unfortunately, membership fees (where payable) go to funding our not-for-profit club and covering basic operational costs. An entry fee applies to each competition, which will get you practice time in the tub and your competition surf.
